When you look for advice to a pediatrician, you often hear that there is still a lot of time to wait, especially in younger children. In many cases, this may be true, but there are some similarities in the language development of the child, which should be treated early in order to avoid children developing a so-called obstruction consciousness. This can cause children to be silent because they realize that they cannot speak so well.
Our family centre offers you the possibility to provide free first-time advice through an experienced logopedin within the protected framework. Together with your child, you will come to our house for an appointment and get valuable tips in case of language obstinacy and a qualified statement about a possible need for therapy. With this knowledge you can then talk to your pediatrician * in order to get a regulation for a logopaedic care. With a regulation you will then go into the logopaedic practice of your choice. Therapies are not offered in the family centre.
